Squeegeeing ink through the perforations of silkscreen in the shape of your design transfers an image onto the object – usually a garment. A thick gelatin-like liquid emulsion is used to make the screen stencil.
Screen printing is suitable for soft fabric surfaces or objects with firm, even surfaces, such as t-shirts, tote bags, and pens.
When a promotional product is embroidered, it is placed under an embroidery machine with a hoop around the area to be decorated, which holds the material flat and taut while the machine threads a design onto the product. Keep in mind that due to the limits of digitizing and utilizing thread as the medium, small lettering and details are not well suited for this promotional product decorating method.
This is popular on caps, blankets, and clothing items such as button-ups and polo shirts.
Pad printing is a technique in which your logo is stamped onto the promotional item of your choice. It involves pressing a silicone pad in a variety of stiffness levels and forms to suit a wide range of items onto your inked design, which is then pushed onto an object.
It's vital to remember that this approach only allows for the application of one color at a time. Pad printing is perfect for items with a hard surface that are rounded, such as golf balls or tumblers.
Digital printing, also known as the 4-color process or full-color printing, prints a pattern onto an item using actual printers rather than screens or silicone pads. It operates in the same way that you would normally print from your computer. This method also allows you to print across the whole surface of a product.
Digital printing is commonly utilized on items like mousepads, magnets, decals, and notebooks.
Sublimation is the process of transferring a pattern to a cloth using heat and pressure. Your logo is printed on the transfer paper that has been coated with adhesive and then pressed with a hot iron. The heat enables the ink to change from a solid to a gaseous state, allowing the ink to enter the fabric and bind to it, leaving a permanent imprint. Sublimated impressions do not fade over time.
This printing technique is often used on clothing, lanyards, and other fabric goods.
Embossing and debossing are similar to pad printing, but there are several major distinctions. These operations begin with the fabrication of a metal stamping die tailored to your product's imprint surface. When the die is finished, it is used to stamp a design onto the material, either elevated as in embossing or depressed as in debossing.
This method is commonly utilized on leather goods, as well as customized chocolates and promotional wristbands.
You guessed it — a laser is the main tool used in this promotional product decoration method. A laser beam engraves a stenciled design onto a material during the laser engraving process. The laser turns light energy into heat and burns your design through the top layer (s) of the object to expose the material beneath.
This option enables elegant and spectacular engravings to be applied to a range of various materials, such as cutting boards, jewelry, and prizes made of wood, metal, plastic, and glass.
Heatseal is an excellent method for visibly displaying a business emblem on clothing and may be created in a variety of colors to appropriately complement your company's brand. A colored transfer is produced and then applied to a garment using an industrial heat press, which prints and seals the transfer onto the item, including a heat-sealed logo on the product. As a result, the clothing has a permanent, color-fast embellishment.
Importantly, heat-sealed logos may withstand repeated washing without peeling or fading.
Die-striking, also known as die-stamping, is commonly used to manufacture emblems and other flat promotional materials. A hard metal die is used to press or stamp an image into a softer metal, such as brass or gold. It may be used to make simple and complex designs, but it is not suitable for complex or complicated artwork. Die-striking is widely employed on medals, coins, and belt buckles.
We work with you to create experiences that your customers, associates and team members will never forget using affordable and high-quality promotional products.
